About the Role:
Full-time position (0.9 FTE). Flexible, variable roster to support a healthy work-life balance. Work across both Urgent Care and General Practice, located in the same building.
What Your Day Might Look Like:
- Triage and treat a wide range of acute injuries and illnesses
- Support the GP Team with clinical assessments, procedures, and patient education.
- Perform wound care, plastering, suturing, and other urgent care treatments.
- Administer vaccinations, IV therapies, and medications.
- Use Medtech Evolution for clinical documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurse practitioners, and other allied health staff in a truly multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical audits.
- Provide compassionate, culturally competent care in a diverse South Auckland community.
What You’ll Need:
- The right to work in New Zealand
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Recent experience in Urgent Care or ED
- ACLS certification
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic clinical environment
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Plastering and suturing skills
- Experience in GP/Family Health
- Familiarity with Medtech Evolution
